Professor Turo had spent much time studying Miraidon, he was fascinated by the characteristics that allowed it to change his mode, in one of his expeditions he got traces of his DNA for an investigation. He developed a novel item that would allow any pokemon to access new modes, it was experimental and therefore a secret, even for his assistants. Upon completing the capsule, one of them added traces of a Persian without noticing, sealing, unwillingly Professor's fate. When the professor was ready to test it the instability of the formula reacted to his touch, and without expecting it he became the test subject. 

The feline and shape-shifting attributes began to change his own corporal structure, his body quickly got full in a thick coat of white, orange and black fur, his limbs sharpened while a tail began to grow with pain, his muscles expanded along with his bone structure, he finished transforming with the sound of a roar. 

He looked at himself in the mirror, this accident pleased him.
