Okay. So there's a decent chance that I'm going to be wrapping up Volume 7 either today or tomorrow. That means that, as per usual, once I finish, I'll be taking a few days off. New subscribers, that explosion of laughter you just heard came from all the long-term subscribers who know that my declaration that I'll be taking a few days off is about as legit as a $3 bill from the great nation of Funkotopia. In other words, while I don't think I quite meet the clinical definition of a workaholic, it's probably a close thing.

Practically speaking, I will take a few days off before I physically start writing volume 8. That usually means I write other things. Chapters of other projects that don't get a lot of attention. Short fiction. Stuff like that. It's also been a while since I got any custom artwork done, so it's probably time for me to commission something. It's also been a while since I posted a picture of food I made, so there's a decent chance that will also happen. Yes, that Food Porn tier title actual has real-world meaning. I'm kind of on a healthier food kick right now, so prepare for spicy cucumber slices and salads...maybe. Who knows?

If you're in the Good Karma Corner, Storytime Corner, or My Hero Corner tiers, things won't change much in terms of chapters. You'll still get access to a new (for you) chapter each day.

A general thought I had about this volume and probably something to handle in a future edit, but I can't recall Kho or Calling telling Sen that he's doing a good job. He's gone through a lot and while they've been impressed at his advancement and given him more advice, I feel like a bit of "hey kid, you're doing okay" would be appropriate.

Referencing your next post, “How to Lose Patrons and Alienate People”, I happen to agree with your take on the matter. The author in question made a very primal statement that was, in my opinion, unnecessarily condescending. The series they write is a great read but obviously success can be a poison all its own.
