Hey everyone!

Here are five A4-sized versions of this river in the Feywild with the central log in different positions, each with a full-inch, half-inch or no grid. I had a play with some watercolours last night on my Twitch channel and ended up with something I'm kind of happy with.

I want to try doing this more often, but I'd love some feedback on whether this kind of thing is useful to you at all. I think I need to zoom out my perspective a bit and get more playable space in there.

If anyone needs any different sizes or file formats to work with any particular Virtual Tabletop software, please let me know and I'll try to accomodate.

Cheers all!

Neat! I love the aesthetic. There is no such thing as having too many battle maps to choose from. If you make more maps like this, I'm sure they'll get used!

That's pretty cool. I kind of want to get a whole sheet of fancy paper now and try this. I've done a little bit of watercolors and it's been fun. I even made a series of tokens for Magic: the Gathering.

Haha that's the spirit! I might do some quiet experimentation before putting one on Patreon again, so I reckon the next one should be a bit cleaner. Keep an eye out :)

Thanks Andrew! Yeah I bought a bunch of fancy paper back when I was studying graphic design, but it's just been sitting in a drawer. I'm trying to get my money's worth out it! The cool thing about watercolours is: even when you do a bad job, it still looks stylish. PLEASE share your watercolour tokens on Discord if you like – there are quite a few people lurking in the community who are MTG diehards :)
