Now that you've had the chance to read System Finale, I'd love to know what your feelings are about the final book in this series.

But that way the system would be unable to tell anyone what happened. All the credits would be gone no matter how the question about John was ended. And it would be left to the reader to decide if John was alive and well or dead. The only one who would have an idea is Mikito who would be unable to say one way or another. And maybe have a series about that universe. Maybe the Root Administrator tells John before he steps through that the otherside is different and even if he survives there is no telling how his skills, and abilities would translate over or if they would work. He would be alone and without the system

Wait there is a discord I must have missed that. Well for other things, overall I liked the book some things were in my option not so well foreshadowed? We never heard of Urd, but then that is also kinda okay with how things were supposed to be secret. The same kinda for hungering swarm. But then that is kinda okay

Yeah, the Swarm was / is just another big monster but you're right they could have been better foreshadowed. Or the big bad guys... though the System in some ways has always been the big bad. I think, given more time, I might have done it slightly differently to keep a closer thread of who the big bad was...
