It is even more devastating thinking about Heart during lockdown... he only had his parents to interact with and they didn't even bother to learn sign language. Being in lockdown, they probably had enough time to follow a course online or something. Heart also learnt somehow on his own. We see him use sign language in his first scene so he had already learnt it before the series started. There also a very heartbreaking shot when Heart is sobbing in Li Ming's arms, you can see so many post-it notes all around the mirror in Heart's room. I can even imagine how lonely this boy felt during the 3 years before meeting Li Ming. Gemini is truly a promising actor. His first role ever is so challenging, he put a lot of work in learning about what it's like to be deaf. He said that the scene when he had to play angry was the most difficult for him, he kept wanting to scream but couldn't. He was also very worried he'd mess up the signs while arguing with the mom. It's such a poignant and raw scene, all the actors did so well. The Wen and Allan situation is so complicated... I think one thing that's necessary to move on is distance. But they kept living together after the break up, kept sleeping in the same bed and still had sex. How was Alan supposed to move on when it's clear he's still in love? The break up scene was hard to watch. First and Mixx did amazing.

In this episode I also loved the scene with Heart’s confrontation with his mother. I cried too and for his parents not to learn sign language was harsh. Heart was right that his mother was ashamed of him because of their behavior. The acting of Heart and the mother was so well it touched us emotionally ❤️

I totally agree Zerrin! I really love the acting in that scene. They really did great, and knowing that this was Gemini's first role was even more impressive! Also, the mom's acting was really commendable! Just superb! ❤️

I agree Cynthia. It has been years and the parents didn't even make an ounce of effort. It was actually LiMeng who did effort to communicate with Heart and understand him. Gemini's acting was really great in that scene. I can't point out how difficult is it to act in that character especially that you're limited with how you can express your feelings. Wen and Alan situation was really complicated. Friends with benefits I guess but that's complicated especially if one has feelings and they're not in the same page. Yikes! :(
