this whole scene when they stand in front of their houses is a breakup scene. But you don't realise it at first, since usually there is a big conflict or a fight, and here they just understand that it is impossible for them to be together. It is so beautifully done, I can't help but crying every time I rewatch it.

I think that the scene when they are talking about going home eventually is the scene when they make a decision about breaking up 💔 they know that they have a little time left together and when they come back home they can't be together anymore for sake of their parents. It's is really sad cause they know that they really love each other but can't be together because their families are enemies.

The part where Uncle Tong said that he one man cannot change the world but the world cannot change him, I think this is not just about eco friendly, but it also implies about Pat Pran. They can’t change the situation between their families, they can’t stop the flight between their families, and they can’t change the fact that their parents are prohibiting them getting together. But still that cannot change the love between Pat and Pran.
