My eyelids are heavy as I'm typing this, about to get some sleep, but yep, still not done...and I was so sure saturday or sunday would be it.

This whole dumb project has been a bitter pill. I'll be honest, there really is only a minute of full animation in the short but its taken two whole months to produce. A clear reminder that the Starbarians style is locked in at an excruciating 6 minutes per year without a big Helluva Boss-style team and budget (and I DID pay for help on this project, two assistant animators, a colorist, voice work and music!). A team of dozens is really what I need so I'll work on getting that for the future. I'm sick of these forever-schedules and disappointing shorts. Each episode taking half a decade is beyond parody.

Thank you for your support, truly. I'll squeeze this tiny pipsqueak of a cartoon out this month and then take a long hard look at how the hell I can do better and faster - the comic being a source of funding beyond paying for itself is something that I am going to explore.
