Smiling friends is great! Listen out for a cameo from Harry P ;)

Trevor Bond

Well, that looks really good, Harry! Excellent work, I look forward to seeing it!

I'm going to miss seeing you work freelance jobs for cartoons on TV, but after seeing this video and realizing just how much Crunch you put yourself through to get it done, I absolutely don't blame you for choosing to retire from Work-for-Hire animation projects in favor of just doing your own stuff. I love the work you do, and definitely prefer it when you get to take your time to get everything just right. Keep up the awesome work, Harry!

harrypartridge

Thank you Jacob. It isn't out of a desire to avoid crunch as much as I just want to express more of my own ideas. I have a lot of characters and plots I want to introduce the word, but I'll still work hard. Oh, and also, I'll never say "never". If Season 2 of Smiling Friends has a fun challenge for me....then who knows?

3D Squelton should be in more episodes! BOO-HOO!!! (But seriously Harry, the work you did for that show is amazing, well done.)

harrypartridge

Man, I would love it if any of the characters that I voiced returned (and if they hired me back I mean). Let's hope so! Good to see you again Tom. Thanks for still being a patron after so long.

A great update and insight into the animation process. Looking forward to the next DocStar BeeBarians!

harrypartridge

Hah, thank you BG! I'd like to do a thorough video on the making of Starbarians or Dr Bees this year, so think I'll do just that. Stay tuned for more and thanks again for your support :)

Watching that episode, I felt like the animation was familiar, but I didn't place it until I saw Pim walking in one scene, and I said out loud, "Now that's a Harry Partridge-ass walk cycle"

harrypartridge

Lol! I'm kind of bad at walk cycles so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Thanks for watching!

I suspected that Smiling Friends would bring about a lot of collaborations with some of the talent from Newgrounds... But I instantly knew that Mip was unmistakably a creation whose ink you yourself wrought the moment I saw him, Harry. All hail Smormu.
