Here is the full story intro for Killgar's Kode as an animatic.

This intro offers more of an explanation for why Killgar is talking to an audience directly.

Sadly, it's unlikely I'll have time to finish this intro before episode 1 launches, but I wanted to share with you guys anyway.

suddenly i am struck with feels. poor killgar but then do we really want more of him in the universe? hmmm. great intro though

To be perfectly honest, I don't think the video really needs an explanation as to why Killgar is doing it and is fine on it's own, one of those "don't overthink it" kind of moments. Also, Killgar is the last Killgarian? I thought you had plans for other Killgarians to be introduced later? Of course this is my own perspective here, if you get it done in time then go for it, just saying if you can't finish it then don't worry about it, it'll be fine on it's own regardless.

This intro gives me the same vibe an 80s Saturday Morning Cartoon educational/PSA spinoff that gets aired in the four minutes between episodes would give me... I love it

Less sure if this specifically is what you were going for, but put into context with his character motivations in Starbarians 3, having Hogstrong do the narration instead of Killgar (therefore making it about preserving knowledge rather than just looking cool) also subtly reinforces the role he seems to be taking on as the show’s “true” protagonist.

Love it. Ties the whole thing up perfectly. I would highly recommend delaying ep1 to add that in if you can afford to. If not I can't wait to see it done. Also you definitely need to get more Starbarian lore out there as soon as possible. Hopefully this series will help :)

I feel the same way, Gregor. It's a little tough as I'm syncing release with the dubbed French language version and we have a set release date...but we'll see!!

Nice little animatic. I think it makes for a good extension to the Opening segment. Also, I did not realize Killgar was the last of his kind. I wonder what caused the near-extinction of the species.

Interesting.... Killgar's the last Killgarian huh? Hm... I'm curious if that's a 'for now' situation, given their evidentially.... explosive birth situation. Be kind of neat if it's a race that routinely goes extinct!

I really liked this. We're given some interesting character development of Killgar, which definitely makes him more interesting to me. Can't wait to see more!
