Patreon Update! The Changes Have Gone Live! (Patreon)

As you may remember from the last post, I was floating around some changes to the Patreon. While incredibly nervous while writing the post, the response was overwhelmingly kind and gracious and wonderful to see. I really appreciate the support and feedback you all offered. Because of it, I decided to go ahead with the proposed changes. Here's everything that's different now.

For starters, the Patreon has been swapped to monthly payments rather than per creation. Honestly was flabbergasted to see the support people had for this, as most seemed in favour of this model anyway. I also set the Patreon to be paid upfront, which shouldn't affect any of you unless you're moving to a higher tier.

Speaking of, new tiers! Neat! Here's how the tiers work now, for those that are curious:

• $1 TIER: Names in the credits of each vid and  access to the monthly exclusive Patreon video
• $5 TIER: Access to behind the scenes content like outtakes, bonus vids and notes, as well as all previous rewards.
• $10 TIER: The ability to suggest and vote on the topic for each month's exclusive Patreon video. The way this is going to work is that there will be two posts, one asking for suggestions and one asking for votes. I'll curate the suggestions from the initial post based on my own judgment and the popularity of the topic amongst patrons and combine it in a poll with maybe one or two of my own ideas and then post the poll. Additionally, access to all previous rewards
• $20 TIER: Your name read out loud at the end of every video and access to all previous rewards.

Of course, this is all experimental and could change if it doesn't work, but right now, I'm confident that this is best for the Patreon and I'm excited to see where this goes! Thank you all once again for the support. It means so much, more than I can ever properly express in words. Which is saying something because expressing things in words is my job.
