Visual test for the player character of my game!

Now that I've finally gotten into the gritty logistics of how I want to do this, I'm thinking that this method may not work out. The goal was to create a method that takes less work and looks better than regular Flash animation, but this way doesn't actually seem to be less work.

Currently the best way to get vector art from 3D is Blender's Freestyle SVG add-on which is good at drawing vector lines, but the best fills it can do are simple silhouettes. Each color has to be rendered and cleaned up separately; this test required four separate renders.

Don't even get me started on what I'll have to do for characters with multiple fur colors. I'm thinking at this point it may actually be easier to just do something in real 3D, which I could actually still do in a browser game. Looks like further testing is required.
