As much as I enjoyed season 1, season 2 is far superior and more reaction worthy I think. I'm pretty sure RJ will enjoy this one. Yes it's going to jump around a little bit, it's the nature of this show, but it's so much cleaner and easier to follow this time, especially getting to react to it more frequently. The "I was wrong" dance needs to be standard at the end of every argument for everyone moving forward lol.

Seconding this! I have a deep love for season one because the book is my favorite of all time and I think it did a remarkable job as an adaptation but season two is so much better put together as a television show, you know?

RJ acting like he wouldn't stop and stare if nekkid Jon Hamm walked by. lol. This season definitely paid attention to what worked from the first one and built on it. Apparently, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett who co-authored the book had plotted a sequel before Sir Terry passed away, so there was a plan for where it would go. And since season two was written expressly for the screen and not adapted from a novel, it does have a little less as far as extraneous plot points and is a bit more focused and character driven. And both "the apology dance" and happy angel Crowley bring me untold joy. Here's hoping we can get them all in without slipping in the ratings. And if I ever allow myself to start sponsoring reactions again (trying to be more fiscally responsible for the moment), sponsoring more of Staged is up there on my priority list. Sheen and Tennant are giving Braff and Faison a run for their money on the bromance front.
