I pretty much feel the same way you both do about this episode. It's fine, but it's not very exciting. The set up to it is excellent, but there's no pay off. The alien (another Classic Who villain making it's debut in the new series) in it's armor is menacing, being trapped at the bottom of the ocean on a submarine which is running out of air is terrifying, and every actor in this one is very well known so it should have been amazing. That being said, it's not really a bad one either. It's definitely fine. The voice of the Ice Warrior is Nicholas Briggs who voices the Daleks and Cybermen. He does a lot of the alien voices, but is most known as the voice of the daleks.

I didn't remember much of this episode, for awhile, I was thinking, did I somehow miss this episode? Then 3 quarters in to the episode I remembered it a bit, so I guess that kind of say's what I thought of the episode. It's interesting, they had a good cast, with good acting, a interesting story, some nice scenes with the older guy and Clara, so you think it would be a great episode, instead it's just fine and not that memorable, clearly. Anyway, I look forward to the next one.
