Ok, for real this time. It always sucks seeing Amy and Rory go. As you well know they are my favorite companions and the abruptness of there leaving was a total shocker for me. I am just glad they were together in the end. The Doctor's panic while begging Amy to not go is what always gets me the most emotional. When Amy call him Raggedy Doctor before she turns around I always lose it. Also, the afterward in the book saying goodbye to The Doctor and retelling some of the adventures she had with him so sweet and heartbreaking. I just love/hate it haha. I am excited for rest of this season though, so see you next week.

I never liked amy as much as the companions of david tennents doctor, and so when i 1st watched this doctor and amy's seasons I didnt feel as emotional when she lefted as the others previously, particularly rose and donna who have always been my fav companions. But watching it again with you guys I have a new view of amy and was way more upset watching her leave than the 1st time I watched it. The episode before when she said it had been 9 years and the stuff about her aging in this episode, really hit me this time watching, showing how long she had been with the doctor, compared to the others. And it really made it hard to say goodbye, from a character that started as a little girl who idiolizied the doctor and waited for him to come back, to the character we said goodbye to who was willingly to let the doctor go for a life with rory.
