Yeah this is probably my favorite episode of the show (so far). Watching Richie finally realize his purpose is so cathartic after watching him go through so much frustration (and start so much unnecessary shit) in basically every episode before this -- I'm not someone who really cries at TV/Movies, but this one had me choking up for sure. There are so many good lessons in the episode, from it "never being too late to start over", to finding meaning in service, to "every second counts"… I just loved it. Couple fun facts: - Ya'll noticed the picture of Carmy and Luca (the Chef who trained Marcus in the Denmark episode) on the wall. If you remember back to that episode, Luca tells Marcus a story about how he used to think he was "the best", until he started working alongside another chef who was so much better/faster than he ever imagined… That picture is intended to confirm that it is indeed Carmy who was that other-worldly "Michael Jordan" of chefs that Luca was referring to. - The restaurant Richie works at in the show is technically fictional, though they did shoot the episode in a real restaurant location in Chicago called Ever! It's supposed to be really really good (it has 2 Michelin Stars), and while it's not "the best restaurant in the world" it definitely seems well worth the trip! Also they don't actually have a 5,000 person waiting list so you should be able to get a reservation lol.

This is my favourite episode of the show, seeing Richie finally stop fighting everyone who's just trying to help him, and find joy and pride in his work is such a great moment. Also the scene between Richie and Oscar Winner Olivia Coleman is just amazing. I love the concept of "time well spent" to try and enjoy and make the most of every moment you can.
