Yup, I'm with you guys on this one, it's a pretty tough one for me to get through too. This is actually the first time I've rewatched this episode since it originally aired, and I found myself doom scrolling on instagram lol. But, we got to get through the tough ones to get the good ones. I'm also not a big fan of westerns in general, but I must say I do love how Doctor Who is the kind of show that can give you Dinosaurs on Spaceship one week, then a Western the next. Oh, and I really love the banner you have behind you! Very nice.

This episode is a slow and quiet episode. I'm so-so when it comes to westerns, sometimes I can like them a lot, most of the time I find them slow, especially when it's a TV show doing a western episode. I don't really think about this episode much and sometimes I even skip it when I'm watching reactions. But it's not a terrible episode or anything, it does have some interesting discussions about morality, second chances and forgiveness, it was a nice reminder of why the Doctor needs companions, It was fun seeing the Doctor get to be the Sheriff, the gunslinger was interesting, the acting was good from everyone and I liked the Sheriff, sad he died, but it was still a very slow episode. Possibly interesting information I didn't say in my comment on the previous episode...because spoilers. The fictional character of Riddell from the previous episode was actually supposed to be a real world frontiersman but they were doing a western episode right after and thought the character would be to similar, so they instead created a fictional big game hunter.
