So glad you guys are enjoying the show. I hear what you're saying about the "real world" scenes feeling slow and wanting more of the kidnapping mystery. But just wait, it will all tie together beautifully. And the "real world" scenes have SO many tender moments that parallel what is happening in the bunker. BBA & Jesse bonding through grief, Steve and his agro emotions, Buck & French trying to fit in as outsiders. Prairie's parents. There's so much to explore and connect! I agree the mystery of the Haptives is the most captivating storyline initially and learning more about Hap's fucked up experiments of killing them over and over again, to record their NDEs in the name of "science", is sickening but enthralling. He's not your typical villain, his cause at face value is noble: to prove that death is not the end in the hope of liberating mankind. His means of proving this, however, are inhumane to the highest degree and ultimately evil. I hate that you guys have to experience this show at such staggered intervals, relying on my winning lotteries and sponsoring it, but I think the show is worth it despite the long breaks. And there is a real lack of reactions to it despite its rabid fandom, so I'd hate the two best reactors in the game to watch it without recording, so if this is the way it has to happen, so be it. Slow and steady until I've eventually sponsored all 16 episodes between the two seasons, if that's what it takes. Then, hopefully, you rewatch all 16 episodes in a single weekend to fully grasp this marvel of a story. There really is no show quite like it in its originality. Lastly, Khatun told OA in the opening scene, during OA's Near Death Experience, that she is the Original. My question for you all is ... the Original what? What do you think Khatun meant?
