I actually really like this episode. Mostly because it's finally a chance for us to see a little insight to the characters. Tosh had her moment in Greek's bearing gifts, but now we get to see what Jack really thinks of his immortality, and repercussions of the Doctor taking away his ability to time travel. Owen finally falls in love, admitting how scary that is to him, then having his heart broken. I think for Gwen, this is the moment she realizes how shitty she treats Rhys. She lies to him easily, she's cheated on him. I think she's starting to see this.
