I'm with RJ, I like the concept, but it doesn't quite hit properly. It was a nice attempt at a "murder" mystery but comes off a little weird overall. I think if the eye's powers had come more into play (the retrospective sight) it would hit better. Gwen is definitely starting to change as the season goes on. She is truly caring and empathetic, and when she taps into that her bad assery starts to show which makes for a character that you truly want to get behind. When she doesn't tap into the caring nature she just seems rude and selfish.
