Hi August Patrons!

Special thanks to everyone who pledged again for August, welcome back! And welcome to those of you that are new this month!

Today is Billing Day and  please be advised that if you're adjusting your pledges or are new to our Patreon- Notifications from Patreon are typically really delayed on Billing Day and we typically can't see those changes until later in the day or even the next day when we get an onslaught of notifications all at once. If you're concerned at all that we haven't seen your pledge- please just send us a Direct Message so we can look that up for you!

In the meantime, while everything settles, we have this month's polls going for New Show and New Movie reactions!  Be sure to weigh in!  (And remember you can vote for more than one ) Regular posting will resume again then on the 3rd :)

I doubt Oppenheimer will be available for home streaming in August.

Again, as said with the Barbie movie, I contacted RTR via direct message about recommending movies that come out on streaming in future months and they said that those movies are definitely okay to recommend. I have no idea what RTR will do but given the past when movies like John Wick 4 were voted in, they gave a space for the movie (Oppenheimer for example is scheduled for streaming release in October) but then for that current month picked the three highest movies. So, Oppenheimer would, hypothetically, be reacted to in October along with two or three other movies that were picked on those polls. I'm not sure if you're worried about a movie like Transformers getting picked because it has 11 votes which is the fourth highest it seems (tied with Princess Mononoke) but it most likely will. I talked all of this out with RTR via direct messages hoping to avoid drama of what should/should not be recommended.

I forgot to mention this when I recommended Princess Mononoke but I hope (if it gets voted through) we can have a vote afterward on whether to react dubbed vs. subbed. Since it's a Ghibli movie and those often have very good dubs, I don't really mind either way
