This episode was a bit "meh" for me. It's not bad, it's just not one I usually go back to. That being said I loved your reaction to it, and it made me like the episode a little bit more than before. This next episode was written by the amazing Neil Gaiman, the mastermind behind Coraline, Good Omens, Stardust, American Gods, Sandman, Lucifer, and more. I won't say anymore about it until after you've watched it of course, but just wanted to give context to where you might recognize the name from.

When I saw the thumbnail for this episode, I thought what is this episode, then I looked up the description and was like, well, I don't remember this episode at all, wonder what that says about it? Overall, I thought it was alright, it's not my favorite, I loved Rory and his reactions, I now know the main pirate from Downton Abbey, the Paddington movies amongst lots of other things, which made it more enjoyable. I really liked the last 10 minutes or so, I thought there was some great acting from Rory and Amy when she was trying to save his life. I also liked the captain, his son and the crew, I guess being space pirates now at the end, plus the ongoing story bits. Your reaction also made this episode significantly more enjoyable as well, I'm glad you both enjoyed it so much, I look forward to the next one.
