Oh you were expecting answers? Welcome to season 6! I did like the throwbacks to season 5 mentions of the silence. The level of planning Moffat does is insane. JRabbit got River's timeline exactly right. From our perspective (and the Doctor's) the Doctor and River will kiss a lot more. From River's perspective she is going off to the Byzantium crash with the Angels (no kiss) and the library with Donna and 10 (again no kiss), which when she'll die. PS - welcome back. I hope you guys had an awesome trip.

Hope you had a good vacation! Love of the theories being put forth by you guys. This two-parter is pretty scary and feels like a horror to me. The silence are a very frightening villain and that The Doctor has to resort to help in the extermination of them says a lot. River is always great. Amy and Rory are an amazing duo. The 11th Doctor, just outstanding. Need I say more? No, spoilers...

Welcome back, I hope you enjoyed your trip. I thought this was a really great two-parter, I loved how jarring it was when this episode starts. Your thinking, wait, I thought we left off with Amy shooting a kid, now she's running, also wasn't Canton our friend, now he's trying to kill us, what's happening? Then your left playing catch up for the rest of the episode. On top of all that, unlike how this show usually works, it left us with a lot of unanswered questions. Who shot the Doctor?, is he still going to die?, is Amy Pregnant or not?, who's the kid?, did she just regenerate? and more, I love that they did that with this two-parter. If the Silence wasn't already creepy enough, apparently they all sleep hanging upside down in groups, I love the creepy, disturbing atmosphere this episode had. I know they were trying to mess with us and Rory, making us think that Amy was professing her love for the Doctor, but when I watched this the first time, I was thinking, she called him stupid face, she wouldn't call the Doctor Stupid face, she would call Rory stupid face, so I didn't buy it for a second. Great Reaction, I look forward to the next one.

It's so bittersweet when River kisses the Doctor. It's a great moment for the Doctor and for us as fans, but it's so sad and tragic for River as she realizes that's the last time she'll ever kiss the man she loves.
