I love how everyone in the office (except Dwight) was sucking up to the new boss Deangelo Vickers (best name ever). This was by far the most Stanley has smiled since “Pretzel Day”. This was also Darryl’s least coolest episode. I really felt his shame when he walked by Micheal with the cowboy hat & boots. Looking back on this episode I can’t think of anyone else to play Deangelo than Will Ferrell. No one can replace Michael of course, but seeing Steve Carell & Ferrell together was worth the price of admission.

Will Ferrell Coming in was a solid way to cary out the next few episodes. The next one I believe is a two partner, if youre doing the two parters as one now, should make for a great reaction!

Pretzel Day Stanley is how I want to see the world lol

It's not a two-parter. The one after is though. And I would be careful about mentioning who is in upcoming episodes.

I think the writers understand how much Michael leaving with Holly to go to Colorado affects the show and arranges things to kind of give the fans little treats before hitting its ‘new normal’. I have some…thoughts on Deangelo but I will wait to share those to avoid spoilers.

The office isn't exactly "enchanted" with Deangelo, they're just kissing his ass because he's the new boss. This episode was so jam-packed with laughs, it really boosts spirit as a viewer coming off of the emotional episode prior. My favorite is the bizarre backwards hug thing Michael & Deangelo do, I could rewatch that scene 1,000 times. Also, fun fact, when Deangelo & Michael are goofing around at the office during the cold open, shortly after first meeting, Deangelo says "we should write a movie together!" Will Ferrell & Steve Carrell were at the time of filming this episode creating Anchorman 2 together, so it's a nice little easter egg with two comedy legends. PS, and this is aimed at other patrons as a friendly reminder, we should all be a bit more careful about how we phrase things in these comments to avoid spoilers. When certain characters might appear or for how long definitely counts as a spoiler in my opinion, so let's be cognizant of that!
