I found this episode interesting, I kind of like that it got more serious, but it was a very difficult subject with a kind of unsatisfactory ending. I say kind of because as much as I would have preferred an ending where we changed minds and the surgery didn't happen, it was pretty unlikely they would be able to change the minds of an entire race of people from one trial and discussion. So, I kind of appreciated that the ending made sense for the situation, even if it wasn't the most satisfactory. Another reason I found the episode interesting is because like I said in a comment on an earlier episode, I was worried this was going to be Family Guy in space, which I wasn't sure would work in live action, so when this episode happened, I thought, oh, so they are going to get more serious, that could be interesting, I might like that. Although, I will admit despite saying I kind of liked the idea of them getting more serious and finding this episode interesting, I didn't fully love it. Great reaction, I do hope you get to see more of the series.

Hey guys i really liked this episode because it went a lot more serious than expected. Sure, seeing the baby still get the sex change procedure was rough after everything that went down, but it also shows that only bc we want to see an episode go a specific way, we not always get what we want. A lot of other shows would have ended it with a perfect little bow, but it makes total sense that an entire culture of beings would not change their ways only bc our crew intervened one time. That is why i think this episode was so hard to watch. Anyway, on to more silly antics aboard the Orville and i see you next time.
