This is one just for giggles. I would put your expectations for this to be American Pie meets Derry Girls. (There is a direct Derry Girls/Golden Girls formula to the characters). Jay/Michelle/Blanche, Simon/Erin/Dorothy, Will/Claire/Rose, Neil/Orla/Sophia. Sadly, there's no James in this equation. But we do have the Taskmaster himself Greg Davies, in the Sister Michael role. If you ever miss dialogue or there's slang you don't know, just assume that pretty much everything is a term for male or female anatomy or a crass ways to describe being gay. This show is from the mid 2000s, but the original concept was apparently written in the late 80s or early 90s which explains a lot. I really hope kids are less homophobic now than even this is depicting from not quite 20 years ago. I think this show is probably close to what you guys thought Freaks and Geeks would be (a raunchy 2000s comedy). It does get pretty bleeping funny, imo. So, we'll see what you guys think.

This show really shows the British teenage coming of age boy banter down perfectly. I think as someone raised in the UK I could relate to most of the episodes in some way from my own highschool years. Yes, by about 16 we'd be asking our parents for 20 quid (pounds) for a night down the pub with our mates. Usually it would be met with a "be careful and don't drink too much." The main draw to this show is it's crass (so prepare yourself), it's cringe (so might appeal more to JRabbit), and it's crazy. Once you get used to that, used to the characters, and used to the fact that it's very British culture, and extremely different from American 16 yr old culture I think you'll see the humor in it.
