The Michael Scott movie is accessible on Peacock you have to search on Peacocks under CLIPS not episodes (from what I remember). I also have to warn you that it’s a unique thing, it was shot as a full length mini movie but BJ Novak wasn’t allowed by network executives to actually have it as an episode of the office as they thought people wouldn’t understand the tone shift However it’s kind of important that you at least react (even if you don’t put the reaction out before watching Season 7 Episode 17 of The Office (you just reacted to Episdoe 14 i believe with Andy’s seminar) because episode 17 has clips from it but not the full movie so it’ll spoil the experience

REALTALKREACTIONS

To clarify, we should react to the movie before we get to episode 17? And thanks, we'll check peacock today.

Fay K

Yeah. They cut the movie up so episode 17 they watch the movie (so kind of react) but they cut it up to use it.

Fay K

Like, there’s a part where a character leaves the room whilst the movie is playing and I won’t explain why or what he or she does but you kind of miss a huge chunk of the movie to focus more on the scene outside the conference room I watched it last night

More The Office 😊 I hope the community movie comes out soon, Joel mchale keeps saying they want to make one

NMTodd

Please don't watch Threat Level Midnight before watching the Season 7 Episode of the same name!

Fay K

Why? BJ Novak suggested watching the movie version first as you get to experience it without it being cut

NMTodd

Don't you think it kind of ruins the episodes and all the reactions from characters? The episode wouldn't be as good if you've seen the movie first. Maybe I just think that because that's the order I watched them in.

Fay K

No, you miss large chunks of the movie. Watching the episode first ruins the movie as you are left filling in gaps. Maybe RTR can do a poll to see how people feel?

NMTodd

I guess I just enjoyed seeing TLM (in the show) when it was unexpected and mixed with reactions from the characters, then watching the full one after. I don't think I knew the Full Version was available until after I watched the episode, so you probably have more insight than me. You might be right.

Fay K

oh no, I agree with you on the fact that I saw the episode first. I watched The Office as it aired on a little TV (slightly bigger than Michael's plasma) and the movie came out about five or so years later (probably more like seven). There's just things that take away from the experience, in my opinion, if you see the episode first.
