Our parents are our foundation. - our formational relationships that we have no choice but live our lives through... until we forgive them. This is true for Jamie - as it is for Ted - (and his Mom) - as we know it is for Nate - as it likely is for Coach Beard - and we must imagine it is for Jamie's father. Thank you to all these Moms and Dads... and fuck you... But as it turns out for all those Moms and Dads - they rarely won, they often lost, but mostly they only got ties... so, their sentiments to us... Fuck You! That was my main takeaway from this episode, but I also had two other notes... * Jade... became the PERFECT guide for Nate to make his way to be as great he should have always been. Who could have imagined during the first two seasons that Jade, (Jaded), would absolutely be as PERFECT a Ted Lasso kind of character, as Ted himself? I love Jade! * And two, Roy and Keeley helping Jamie overcome his overwhelm just might be the means to find their way back to each other. I sincerely hope so. My favorite moment here was JRabbit holding herself as she finishes her post react comments and sighing... and yes... we all love sport and the wonder of this amazing series too. Even better... these reactions by both of you have made the series even better. One more to go! (JRABBIT, you don't have to read this addendum, but I wanted to add this here.) "They fuck you up, your Mom and Dad... They may not mean to, but they do... They fill you with the faults they had... and add some extra, just for you... They were fucked up in their turn... By fools in old style hat and coats... Who at the time were soppy-stern and half at one another's throats... Man hands on misery to man... It deepens like a coastal shelf... Get out as early as you can... and don't have any kids yourself." ~ Mae Bee's poignant poem - part of Philip Larkin's "This Be The Verse"

I love Jrabbit's breakdown of the episode at the end, that was great, said everything. So, I'll just add a few comments. I liked Jade pulling the Batman move in this episode, just disappearing every time Nate said that's my girlfriend. I loved when Keeley and Roy were following Jamie, Keeley was sneaking around corners, hiding behind cars and Roy, Roy's just walking. I also really thought Roy and Keeley were back together, I even said it in my comment for the last episode, but I guess their just friends, but I for one really hope, they end up back together. Also, the Manchester City coach was the actual Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, whose been mentioned on the show a few times before, but then actually made a surprise cameo in this episode. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
