RTR RESULTS | Rules for New Show Voted in (Patreon)
Content
Hi Patrons,
Thank you again to everyone who voted and weighed in. Based on the results we will keep the process of voting a new show in and allowing for that show to drop in rotation based on the results of that month's pulse test.
For this month, that means Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will continue to be reacted to but at a slower pace and will then have a chance to get voted back in next month or will lose its spot in the rotation.
Shows in Regular Rotation:
1 It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
2 Doctor Who
3 The Office
4 Better Call Saul
5 New girl
6 Cobra Kai
7 Succession
8 Ted Lasso
9 Shameless
10 Derry Girls
Expectations for Other Shows (Slower Rotation)
The following shows have 5 episodes or less and will be reacted to - though at a much slower rate- until the current seasons are finalized. Once the season is finished, they will then be moved out of rotation and the next season will only be started if voted into rotation again.
30 rock 3 Episodes Left
Malcolm in the Middle 1 episode left
Barry 4 episodes left
The White Lotus 2 episodes left
Sex Education 1 episode left
Scrubs 3 Episodes left
The following shows have more than 5 episodes left in their current season and will be reacted to - though at a much slower rate. They will have one chance to either get voted in again at the beginning of next month for the new show poll or for the pulse test before being removed from rotation.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt 10 episodes left
Abbott Elementary 7 episodes left
As a reminder here are the new changes voted in earlier this month as well.
Number of Shows in Regular Rotation:
Going forward we will limit the total number of shows in regular rotation to 10. Based on this pulse test, we will simply take the top 10 ranked episodes and those will be the ones regularly reacted to until the next pulse test. The only fluctuation on this, will be when a new show is voted in that isn't already in rotation- we will have 1 week with 11. (The second week of each month)
Monthly New Show Polls:
We will keep things the same with an opportunity each month to vote in a new show.
Shows that fall out of rotation:
Shows that don't make the top 10 rankings will be reacted at a much slower rate. Those with 5 episodes or less left in the season will be reacted to until the season is finished and then removed from rotation until voted in again. Those with more than 5 episodes will have one more chance to be voted into rotation in the next month's new show or pulse test poll before being removed completely from rotation.
There were a lot of suggestions about different approaches over the last couple of weeks- if there are additional thoughts that would benefit from another poll- please post those below.
Thanks again for all the support!
