This is a pretty nice little two-parter, and it introduces the Silurian race to the NuWho viewers. They are another classic "monster" which is why the Doctor mentioned he had met another tribe in the past. One thing to remember about why they seem more violent and less interested in negotiating, it was just one little line that Alaya said that explains it. The drill set off their proximity attack alarm which woke the warrior class to deal with the threat. So basically you have a bunch of soldiers whose primary mission is to save their species. Great reaction, looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the conclusion. Oh, and yes!! The make-up is so on point!!!

This was a good episode, I liked the build up, all the characters were interesting and the makeup was fantastic. I hope Amy doesn't get dissected, great reaction and I look forward to the next one.
