This episode was supposed to be a flop. It's a commentary on how all the "ladies reboots" that came out around the time this episode aired, like Ghostbusters, flopped because they just did the same things as the originals but with women and banked exclusively on that. When viewed as a cultural critique/commentary, as many Sunny episodes are intended, it becomes a lot funnier. They're mocking lame, gimmicky Hollywood circa 2016.

Artemis calling out the plot, Dee trying to force it down our throats as good, etc. It's one of my low key favorites, though I really enjoy when shows get meta and I know some people don't care for it or it just doesn't resonate for them. The waitress definitely was a highlight, but I also really enjoy Mrs. Kelly in this one. I think it's an underrated moment at the end when her and Mrs. Mac wind up at the ballpark just like Mac & Charlie. Mrs. Kelly breaks the record like Charlie did and says something unintelligible that even the show doesn't know what she said and just puts ??????? as the subtitle.
