I just want to know what kind of deal that the costume department got on crazy fangs for this season, this is twice we've had creepy vampire teeth. Rory is a very interesting character. He's the first "real" third and male companion of the rebooted series and luckily, he will get a little bit more fleshed out and has more of a character arc than Mickey did. You can even see that The Doctor has a little more respect for and chemistry with Rory than Mickey, who he really did seem to treat as more of a pet that Rose brought along for the ride.

Great reaction, to a good episode. I feel like Rory, already feels like he fits well in this episode, also, to disagree with Rosanna, he's not dumb, he's awkward, there's a difference. The actress that played Rosanna was great, she really made you understand and sympathize with her, you might not agree with her choices, but you get where's she's coming from and she definitely elevated the episode. I look forward to the next one.

I really like this episode, it really sets up Rory well, seeing his perspective of how people act around the Doctor is something we've seen before, usually with the mother's, but I think this might be the first time someone who is travelling with the doctor has pointed it out. Of course by the end of the episode he's becoming just like Amy and perhaps enjoying that sense of adventure more than he initially thought. You are absolutely right about the actress who plays Rosanna (Helen McCrory), she really makes this episode. I really enjoyed the playful way she was conversing with the doctor during the "Answer for an answer" scene but she quickly changed when she realized the Doctor wasn't going to see her side of things. Sadly Helen McCrory died 2 years ago of breast cancer, at the young age of 52. She kept it private with most people only finding out she had even been sick when her husband announced her death. It really was a shocker. I've not seen peaky blinders (yet), but I recognized her from Harry Potter. She plays Draco Malfoys mom. To answer RJ's question about blending in, it's actually similar to how the fish aliens were able to blend in. The TARDIS has a perception filter which actually kind of masks it, makes people not really notice it. JRabbit was correct that it extends out to the doctor and companions too. If you remember the David Tennant and Martha episodes with the Master they used the TARDIS keys to make a stronger filter so the master wouldn't see them (which didn't work of course). Usually, like in this episode it works well, others like queen Victoria in the werewolf episode the filter doesn't work so well. Several people commented on Rose's "nakedness" but no one commented on the doctors suit. When they do dress up in period clothes I think it's mostly just meant to be for fun. Another great reaction, I'm interested in what you'll think of the next one so I'll just be here patiently waiting for next week.
