It's great to see more of Hector Salamanca when he is not in a wheelchair and able to talk. We only got like a total of 2 minutes of that in breaking bad from flashbacks. A neat detail is right before Hector enters the diner someone dings A bell on the counter, just like the one he dings to communicate in the future. To add another character cameo to the list; the waitress at the diner, named Fran, also appears for a total of one scene in breaking bad (serving coffee to mike). A very deep cut but I really appreciate this show for reusing minor characters where possible and when it makes sense to. Like a couple episodes earlier, one of the cops investigating the baseball cards guys house was the same cop in who appeared when Skyler called for one in BB. Totally forgettable. Could've hired another actor, but a really neat detail when you catch it.
