Thanks so much for reacting to this! I loved what you had to say! Lots of fun cameos too, as you noticed. In addition to Ethan Hawke as the efficient rich-people-spray-vax guy and 2 of the game players, Kareem and Natasha Lyonne (of Russian Doll)... the other two players were Angela Lansbury (with her long TV detective history on Murder She Wrote) and Stephen Sondheim (the great composer & lyricist of musicals, who was also famous for his murder-game puzzles). The latter two died after filming their bits, so this makes a nice memorial for them. And the man who slid in to explain the musical part of the puzzle box was the great cellist Yo-Yo Ma. There were also contributions from a couple of actors the director likes to use: Derol (the guy just hanging out on the island) was the same actor as the eager state trooper in Knives Out; and the hourly "DONGG!" was voiced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also had an offscreen line in Knives Out.
