I loved Donna in this episode, it was really a turning point for most people. She came in really harsh and brash on her first outing, brought the comedy to her second outing, then showed her humanity in her third outing. Now it's our fourth episode with Donna and we don't really know what to expect. The fact her humanity was at the forefront, with a little humor and a little brashness, we really are starting to see the real Donna. Mr Halpens transformation into an Ood was originally far more graphic. They had to really tone it down because remember, this is still a family show at its heart. Even the toned down transformation still earned this episode a rating of "suitable for 12 years and over" in the UK, compared to the two episodes before it which were both PG. As you move into this next reaction, try to remember where Episode 5 left off. :)

I've always really liked this episode because of how much Donna cared, this was the episode where I thought, Yeah, I like Donna, which was good because when she first came back I was worried I wouldn't. It was also interesting to use the Ood for this story, as they were characters we as an audience and the Doctor as a character, didn't give a second thought to, only for us and the Doctor to realize we probably should have. It was great to let Donna be the voice to let us all know that. I also love that interaction with the Doctor and Donna when he let her listen to the music and she couldn't handle it, then she said to the Doctor "but you can still hear it" and he said "all the time". I thought that was a really great scene. Great reaction, I look forward to episode 6 not episode 5 like I said in my comment, sorry about confusing on that one.
