This was the first episode of the 3, where I thought, okay, this show might have something, maybe I can like this show. I thought this was a great episode for Owen, who I previously did not like and thought I would never even consider liking, but they gave him a lot of character growth in this episode, which was great. I was right there with you about Rhys, I thought he was a character that wasn't that interesting and kind of got in the way of the show, then they did that moment with those flashes of their relationship and when Rhys came back, he said that line about not minding her working all the hours she did, as long as she still wanted to come home at the end of it all, I thought, your trying to make me like Rhys, well...it might be working. Anyway, great reaction, thanks to Seejay for sponsoring the episode. I saw that the next episode was sponsored as well, so I look forward to the next one.

Owen clearly lacks any empathy, so I like that they were able to use this episode to force him to feel the fear Lizzie was feeling. Given how awful he treated women before this, hopefully he can now realize how his actions can be perceived by women and maybe show a little understanding and empathy now. Although Torchwood isn't a time travel show like Doctor Who they have some pretty great ways of being able to deal with time travel, like in this episode being able to flash back and experience a moment in time. I'm going to keep recommending Torchwood anytime I get a spot as EP because there's some great sci-fi TV coming up. That being said the next episode is a bit of a miss for me. It had potential but I'm not a fan of how they change up some classic Doctor Who lore (you'll see what I mean shortly).
