Great reaction, guys. You all tearing up was me the first time I saw this and now even just watching a reaction. This show is so good at evoking emotion in a good way, not all sad and heavy but cathartic and ultimately joyful. I think it’s rare in sitcoms for their characters to actually grow, esp to grow as much as the Roses (and Stevie) have. This episode was such a wonderful payoff to everything that happened in the last 6 seasons. Personally, I appreciate Alexis’ growth the most. I think she came farthest from who she was in the first season. If you guys haven’t seen the special that comes after the finale, please do watch it even if you don’t react to it (probably wouldn’t make for a good reaction video anyway). It’s a wrapup episode for the whole show where the writers, directors, actors, etc. are interviewed and features behind the scenes stuff. You said that even the actors seemed actually emotional about saying goodbye to the show, even through their acting, and that’s so true — they show the final scene being shot in the special and everyone on set was crying (esp Eugene Levy lol).
