Since you asked, She-Hulk has been breaking the fourth wall in the comics since the early 80s. She used to get into arguments with the writers, She was aware that she was in comic book, just like Jen on the show is aware that she's on a show. Also the being able to change back and forth at will was always her thing, but in the comics after she became She-Hulk she almost never bothered going back to being regular human Jen, until she found out that working out as Jen would make She-Hulk stronger, and even then she only changed to human form to lift weights.
