As someone who loves great apes (real and legendary) and who also had a novelization of the film Harry and the Henderson's as a kid, I adore this episode. Adorable John Lithgow cameo as well. And yes, Liz can be a dirtbag, but I remember at the time I appreciated seeing characters like Liz, early Leslie, Allison Hannigan in American Pie, Christina Applegate in Anchorman and the ladies of the Bluth family get to be on equal comedy footing with the guys where they can be crude or awful people and not just a romantic interest or annoyed "hot girlfriend/wife". PS, That novelization had parts where it narrated what the Bigfoot was thinking which was very entertaining.

This is a season that really boosts Liz’s villain status which I think people started to think about after the reunion episode at her high school. I’ve never seen Harry and the Hendersons but I really liked seeing them watching the movie and them parodying it afterwards with jack and frank. I think my favorite scene though is with franks mother especially: “You want me to paint you a picture? because I did” The first time I watched it though I didn’t recognize frank either when he first appeared cleaned up. I really like this episode too and can’t wait for more.
