Great reaction you guys! I always forget how much I love this episode until I watch it. It's really all about the best of humanity banding together. For me I really love how we see Martha noticing that she's essentially the rebound companion and calls the Doctor out on it at the end. The way she took charge was just what the Doctor needed. The scene with the two of them at the end, when the Doctor is reminiscing always tugs at my heart strings. One thing I really dislike about this episode was Russell T Davies bringing back the Macra in this way. This is their second appearance, the first was 40 years prior, and to dumb them down to pincer snappers with no real motive or objective was really a waste of a potentially amazing villain comeback. No, they weren't an amazing villain, but they were an intelligent species in their debut, and I personally feel like that should have been honored. But, it is what it is. Again, great reaction, can't wait to see your faces when you see who guest stars in the next episode! 🤫
