Thanks, really enjoyed your reaction :) I love this show, because it's so wholesome and optimistic and avoids all the tropes, we are so used to. Wish I had something like this, when I was a teenager (only tragedies, death and suffering for us on the screen at the time) It's still so rare to see stories like this with happy, positive queer relationships. Maybe that's why many compare it to Schitt's Creek and Patrick/David. Fun fact: Yasmin Finney (Elle) has been announced as the next companion in Doctor Who. And the next Doctor is going to be Ncuti Gatwa (Eric) from Sex Education. Looking forward to your next reactions!

This episode is one of my favorites from the whole season!! It’s got so much buildup. Nick exploring his feelings in a healthy way- UNLIKE Ben and the way he treats his sexuality and Charlie as a result of that- is refreshing. You don’t often see that. I’m also really happy to see Charlie put his foot down and not go back to Ben. To clarify a couple things- Imogen is not dating Ben. She looks similar to the girl he is dating, and you don’t see that girl again, so people assume that’s Imogen. She is just friends with Nick’s friends and always hangs out with them. A lot of people take the scene with Nick and Harry after the kiss scene as Nick backpedaling. I didn’t take it that way. It was the quickest way to get Harry and the other boys to leave and also not be suspicious. He wanted to get back to Charlie as soon as possible. Nick is obviously very overwhelmed and not thinking straight, so it made sense to him to just agree and possibly avoid a larger scene. And then the end of the episode- IN THE RAIN. So good. I’m so very happy you both are enjoying this series. It honestly feels like a Healing balm for a lot of the LGBTQIA community. I really wish that content like this was out when I was growing up! Eagerly waiting for more. ❤️
