It's always nice to see someone grow as an actor in a role. It's my understanding that before being cast in this, Billie Piper was a bit of teen pop star ala a latter-day/UK Debbie Gibson or Britney Spears. She really did up her game as this season went along and she brought her best for that conclusion. Rose has never been my favorite companion, as I think I mentioned before. But I do want to give credit to Piper for growing as a performer as she gained experience in a very high-profile role. Looking forward to the next episode and season. Great to see you guys starting to get into the groove with this slightly quirky show as well. I'm the first to admit that some of the campiness and things take some getting used to.

This was a great two-parter, it was great watching the Daleks and Cybermen throw all that shade at each other at the beginning of the episode. Billie Piper was great in this episode, I think she did great in the role in general, considering it was right at the beginning of her acting career, coming off of her being a pop star. It was also great seeing Mickey back and as sad as it was that Rose and The Doctor got separated at least she got her family back. Great reaction, I look forward to the Christmas special and the start of a new season.
