Fun fact about casting in this episode: Pappy McPoyle was played by director Guillermo del Toro.

these themed episodes are really great, theres more of them in the later seasons and they do not miss. always fun to see the actors explore their acting range, like the little bit we got when charlie recited the jaws speech

I really do love when the show gets creative and moves away from the typical formula, while still maintaining the Always Sunny spirit. They went all out with the production value and the change to the intro/end credits. My favorite scene of this episode would have to be Charlie doing the Jaws speech. Its so simple with just pure dialogue. When the camera zooms out to bring Dennis into frame after he interrupts Charlie's speech is what did it for me. Obviously the writing and performances are what make the show funny, but its also the cinematography that makes the jokes pop. It may be simple hand held camera movements but it is very important to this show's style of comedy. The same way with something like The Office.
