Hi May Patrons!

Special thanks to everyone who pledged again for May, welcome back! And welcome to those of you that are new this month!

Today is Billing Day and  please be advised that if you're adjusting your pledges or are new to our Patreon- Notifications from Patreon are typically really delayed on Billing Day and we typically can't see those changes until later in the day or even the next day when we get an onslaught of notifications all at once. If you're concerned at all that we haven't seen your pledge- please just send us a Direct Message so we can look that up for you!

We are  organizing all of the drives as billing settles and as Patreon sends us the billing reports. For any declines, we will check in with you first before removing you from the drive! For those of you that were unable to pledge for this month, we're sorry to see you go and hope to see you back soon!

In the meantime, while everything settles, we have this month's polls going for  New Movies and New Show! Be sure to weigh in!  (And remember you can vote for more than one ) Regular posting will resume again tomorrow :)

Thanks to all of you!

Winners will be announced Thursday May 5th :D

For those that are new- these are the shows that ranked highest in our April Pulse test for the shows we are currently reacting to (a poll we post each month to gage your favorite shows so we react to those ranked highest more often!). The next Pulse test will take place May 15th.

1 The Office

2 Schitt's Creek

3 New Girl

4 30 rock

4 Scrubs

4 Archer

4 It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

4 Doctor Who

5 Derry Girls

5 Malcolm in the Middle

These shows will then be prioritized and in regular rotation :)

Euphoria and Chuck we're continuing to react to as the shows voted for whose next season you most wanted to see.

Psych, Arrested Development and Peacemaker we're still in midseason with and will continue to react to until we finish the current season although at a slower pace. (We're going to finalize PM this week since we only have 2 episodes left)

These shows will be less prioritized.

For the question as to whether you prefer show reactions, movies, or both- "Shows" won out. We will maintain the movies to 3 total for May.

New content will be posted again starting tomorrow and then regularly daily going forward again :) The schedule is posted above too :)

Thanks again for all the support!

Either my computer is really bad at updating the information or only eleven patreons left from last month to this month which is pretty cool :)

REALTALKREACTIONS

It'll drop- it takes the platform a day or so to reflect the correct Tally :/ Likely by the end of tomorrow or Tuesday we'll be able to see the true numbers :D

I am prepared to take some hate/heat from saying this but have you considered raising your prices in order to move with supply and demand. What I mean by that is that your top tiers are much lower than other reactors that I've seen and both the $25 tier and the $40 tier have been sold out from the start of the month I'm not advocating or suggesting that you raise the tiers of $10 and below but I'm sure that you'd still get a lot of interest if you changed the $25 and $40 tiers to $50 and $70 tiers. Just saying because I'm seeing a lot of growth opportunity here edit: You could even split the TV shows up into two as I've seen done of shows below and above 30 minutes

I'll agree that they probably could raise their prices, however I'll just put in my two cents, if you don't mind. The reason I can afford to support on patreon is because of the great value. I watch quite a few reactors, and would love to support on patreon, but I can't afford to pay $10 (or more! some are $15-$20) for every reactor. I got rid of my Netflix because it was getting too expensive with so many streaming services! As for the splitting TV shows up into above/below 30 minutes, I have thought about that sort of stuff for other reactors as well, and it makes sense for the creator, but for the consumer it doesn't. One month I might be into 3 of the 20 minute shows, and 1 of the 40 minute shows, and the next maybe that 40 minute shows reactions have ended. It would be a lot of people having to change their tier level every month based on what shows are being watched at that time. Also, I know it's a little different when it's two people creating content vs a big business, but one of my pet peeves is when a company realises they're getting more consumers (aka taking in more $ for their content) and then ALSO raises the price. So they're already making more $ than last month, and now they want to make more $ per person as well, but keep the content the exact same. There was a content creator channel that I watched who as they grew in popularity and size, they got picked up by big businesses, who raised their prices, and now a lot of the original fans no longer support because of the price hike and the corporate changes. Of course, this is all up to RJ and JRabbit to decide what to do with their channel, I just thought I'd leave a comment of some of the downsides of increasing prices. I hope I don't come across as one of those people who always comment on art that are like "that's too expensive, i could do that, why should i pay that much" but I guess I've just seen other people make this choice, and while some support it, it can be alienating to lots as well. Also, no hate/heat E, you're just trying to help them out with a suggestion. I would love to support creators more, but unfortunately when you try to support more it can get very expensive. Either way, I hope that this channel continues to grow, as I really enjoy the personalities and reactions!
