I thought this episode was fine. Nothing special. The Chang and Garrett stuff was hilarious. I burst into laughter when Garrett literally rewrites the story while filming by saying his character is a spy while on camera. The ending in which Jeff tries to ruin the film when they decide to cut his scene felt so out of character. I could absolutely see Pierce doing this. Hell, I could even see Annie or Shirley doing something like that but stealing the footage so he can keep his scene in order to be the center of attention feels so beneath Jeff. Maybe this could have been in line with his character if it were season 1, but we are in the sixth and final season. I just don’t buy it. It feels like this episode was written during season 2 or 3 where someone like Pierce was meant to fill that role but Dan Harmon decided to shelve the episode in favor of other scripts. This is why I miss Pierce so much. Not only was he my favorite character but he would have fit the role of antagonist whenever the episode called for someone other than Chang. Overall this episode is one of the better episodes in the season for me, but I feel like it could have been so much better if it came in an earlier season.

Yeah, not my favorite episode of Community, this is rock bottom for me. There are some funny jokes but this is mostly unwatchable. If I’m not mistaken this is the last appearance of Leonard the awesome.
