The drug store thing was a joke about the drug store chain Duane Reade, which I just googled and 10 years ago had approximately 11 locations per square mile in Manhattan. Two or three locations visible from a given point was completely plausible. Starbucks may have been the only chain more densely populating Manhattan at that time (Four locations in eye line when exiting Bryant Park subway station). I love Liz and Conan's sordid romantic past. He was in her list of bad relationships a couple of episodes ago. Pete: "Tall gangly redhead who played the guitar all the time." Liz: "Conan." And the Rural Juror...sigh. I feel like that was something that someone came up with in an improv class or SNL writer's room years before and they finally found a place to use it. This was a great episode and great reaction.

Loved the reaction! As I mentioned a week or two ago, I think "Tracy Does Conan" is the moment where the series really finds its level, and just everything works. Whether it's Alec Baldwin asking "It's after 6 PM; what am I, a farmer?" or "Who is this leader of men?", or Conan saying "Let's not do this, Elizabeth," or a surprise cameo from Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate!), it's all great. And we haven't heard the last of "The Rural Juror," or seen the last of Dr. Spaceman. The joke about one street corner having 4 of the same drugstore may work best if you've ever been to NYC. In midtown Manhattan, it seems like there is literally at least one Duane Reade drugstore on every block! It's very confusing.

Still one of my favorite episodes. Dr Spaceman and the Rural Juror in the same episode! It's not the last of either one. I love when someone says I look nice at night so I can respond "It's after 6, what am I a farmer?" lol. Still one of my favorite Jack lines. I also feel like Donald Glover came up with "mind grapes" because he says it on Community as well.
