On paper, there shouldn't be much reason for me to like this show; Ted Lasso. Growing up in middle America in the 60's/70's, I'm not much for soccer. I don't have a keen sensibility for UK-based humor. And, I don't even know who Jason Sudeikis is really (SNL alum?). But, as I've watched the series with you each week since episode two, I have absolutely loved every single minute of it. The characters, their relationships, and the storylines have all been beyond brilliant. And your observations and comments each week have made these even more enjoyable. But this week the show leveled way, way up, and the stories of the (T)eam's success and the grace Ted exhibits through his heartache, were so wonderful - I have to admit, I cried. This extraordinary show and these fantastic reactions are quickly becoming an AWESOME treasure. And, I can't wait for the next one.

I've never been sure when exactly this show went from being a show I thought was really good to being one of my absolute favorite shows, but this episode was probably where that started. I'm glad your both really starting to love this show, I can't wait for the next reaction.

Like others, I didn't think this show would be for me when people told me about it. I don't care about sports stories, just can't manage to care, and (like RJ) I thought I "knew" what sort of series it would be: a wacky coach, a fish out of water, would somehow inspire his ragtag team and bring them to victory in ways I was supposed to find funny. But, as we know, it isn't like that at all. It's about adults dealing with life in a grown-up way. Which shouldn't be unusual, but somehow it is. And it is indeed funny, but in a sneaky way I didn't expect.

I had a comment a few episodes ago about how the music is incredible and perfect in this show (it is). I promise this is the last time I mention it (well hopefully). I saw this somewhere and it’s brilliant. The song/lyrics are acting as the narrator for each moment/episode. It’s the perfect description and just adds to how detailed every part of this show is. Love the reactions! Can’t wait for the next episode
