I flew over to watch this one! Yes, this show has ALOT of quick witted banter and it can be rocky getting accustomed to some of the jokes especially some of the references. “ This shirt smells like Indira Ghandi’s thong.” What I enjoy most about Archer is how each scene plays into the next which produces iconic lines like, “ that’s how you get ants;” a piece of dialogue I use to this day and Lana’s “ Yeppppp” Each character has their quirks and flaws and I can’t wait for you to learn more about them. The elephant in the room of course is the name of the agency which unfortunately was before it was known as such an infamous terrorist group.

So the elevator pitch for this show was James Bond meets Arrested Development. And when they were casting for Archer's mom, they specifically said 'Think Jessica Walters in AR", and then decided to just go and get her. I enjoyed this show from the beginning, but the side characters did take some time to develop into the role they would eventually play. I'd also say it's a show that isn't afraid to take big chances, particularly in later seasons they really decided to get crazy with it. Some of it works, some doesn't, but I like a show that takes chances despite the up-and-down success rate of it.
