Love seeing you guys play detective. This is one of the few shows to keep me guessing right until the end. This was a great episode for Jodi Whitaker as Beth. From the misery after being taken in by the psychic, to that beautiful scene wanting to hug Tom, to the slightly badass “I know about you and Becca Fischer” just great all around. Watching all this heavy drama, it’s amusing to remember that she and Hardy are both probably most famous for playing different incarnations of the same character who is basically Inspector Spacetime (Doctor Who). It’s also funny to me that Mark appeared on The Crown all cleaned up and playing Andrew Parker-Bowles, Camilla’s ex. And of course Olivia Colman just won the Emmy for playing the current queen (As I said in my last comment she gets and deserves all the awards). I also particularly enjoy the awkward dinner with our detectives. A nice lighter moment in all the heartbreak. Can’t wait for next month!
