I so enjoyed your reaction to this season finale, because it reflected my own feelings when I first watched it. Overall, this can seem like a cartoony, exaggerated series, but then there are moments of real emotional truth in it. I found this especially true with David, who has realized that he kind of enjoys the company of his sister, and that he never had any true friends in his earlier life. The way Dan Levy conveys all this, without actually putting those thoughts into words, is marvelous, and unexpectedly touching.

Great reaction! I love the way they sneak in the emotional depth. Rewatching with you guys I noticed this was one of the first episodes to feature Ronnie from the town counsel a little bit more. She may be my favorite supporting character in the town. Looking forward to the season premiere!
