RJ channeling Leslie Knope with "OH, Anne, you beautiful, ethnic flower" was a delightful crossover moment for which I am LIVING :D!

Great reaction =D I really love Jim's line: "It's like going to your high school reunion and saying I miss you guys and they say don't worry because we're all going to move in with you....forever" i know those aren't exactly the words but I do love the way he says that =D This is definitely a transition into merging the branches and the two-thirds of season three. You'll be able to see the way Scranton and Stanford work together but you're right, one of the most interesting parts is the journey with Jim and Pam. Anyway, glad you liked the episode, excited for your reaction on Jim returning to Scranton =D

In defense of the other office manager Josh leaving for a senior position at Staples, I actually don't blame him. He could've easily been in Michael's position of losing his job without any notice too. Every other episode we hear from one of the employees about how Duffin Mifflin is a dying business, example being one of the branch having to close. And Josh does have the right to protect himself with a more stable job at a chain retail business. Also it was a win/lose situation because had Josh stayed, the majority of the Scranton branch would have lost their jobs including Michael.

Personally, I think RJ sings the theme song music better than the theme song does ;)

I think Ed Helms was straight off of the Daily Show for this because he stuck around there longer than Carell and Colbert and was replaced by John Oliver around this time. The Hangover wasn't until 2009. These episodes would have filmed in 2008 at the latest (thank you IMDB for dates and Jon Stewart for bringing so many funny people into our lives). Also appreciated the Ann love from RJ. We've taught you well grasshopper.
